The infomercial is laughable, and the “surgeons” and other medical personnel look scary with their Botox-ed and modified facial features. Despite the cheesiness, however, I was intrigued by this Stem Cell Cream. No, the stem cells are not from embryos (gasp!), but they are obtained from fruits!

According to my research, there are three key ingredients that make this stem cell cream so effective. They are Phyko-Ai-PF, Mitostime, and Seractin. Phyko-Ai-PF is a combination of water and hydrolized algin, a carbohydrate that helps to renew and rejuvenate skin cells. Mitostime, oftentimes referred to as the “fountain of youth”, helps to increase the respiration rate of cells. Mitostime provides the perfect environment for cellular function as it increases respiration by as much as 17%. The final key ingredient is Seractin, which helps to diminish the appearance of deep wrinkles and has aided in collagen reproduction.

Our own skin cells eventually stop functioning optimally, and this formula targets something that we already have and gives it a little boost to keep our skin looking youthful. On a side note, my friend used it for a scar that he has from a snowboarding accident, and it has visibly improved its appearance.
